Of course France is known for its picturesque villages and beautiful landscapes. Many artists have been inspired to express this in many ways through their work. I was also touched by the specific character of this beautiful country.
Perhaps it is the diverse sides of France that keep the country captivating time after time. It just feels at home , as if you were born here, even though I come from the Netherlands myself, to be here feels very relaxed. Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone. But if it catches you, then you are trapped but with a very pleasant feeling. I have already made many drawings and watercolors of the places and regions where I have set my footsteps and I hope to come here very often. Of course I take my equipment with me.
